Creative Home Renovations is proudly a family-owned business, offering renovation services throughout the home. Established in South Australia, our business has over 40 years of home renovation experience.
Expanding to the Gold Coast in 2016, Creative Home Renovations has brought their expertise and award-winning team to specialise in luxury apartment renovations.
Specialising in luxury apartment renovations, including bathroom, kitchen, laundry, and full apartment renovations, we take care of the entire process, including design, selection, and construction. With an in-house team comprising of building consultants, interior designers, project managers and supervisors, we are able to deliver a complete start-to-finish service for our clients.

FOUNDER
Founder, Stephen Maio, is a licensed builder with over 30 years in the industry. He’s evolved the company with the support of a great team of tradesmen, designers and business and sales professionals.
GIANCARLO RESCIGNANO
Director
With a Business Degree in Management and over 20 years; industry experience, Giancarlo is responsible for all operational activity within the Company, staff management and administers all advertising and marketing activity.
MARY MAIO
DIRECTOR
With over 25 years of industry and design knowledge, Mary is responsible for the direction of the Company, and manages all financial and resourcing activity.
Tim Bates
Project Manager/Supervisor
With over 20 years of hands-on experience in the construction industry, Tim is a licensed supervisor and cabinet maker and brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to every project. His attention to detail, coupled with a friendly and approachable attitude, ensures smooth operations and exceptional results.
Kristina Morton
Design and Projects Manager
With a Diploma in Interior Design, and Master’s in Business Administration, Kristina is a highly accomplished interior designer and projects manager. Her extensive qualifications and experience ensures design production is delivered to architectural standards and project delivery is consistently administered as per schedule.
CRAIG NEWTON
CONSTRUCTION MANAGER
With over 35 years’ experience in the building industry, Craig is a licensed builder, supervisor, carpenter and building inspector. Craig is responsible for all construction activity within the Company and ensures each and every project runs smoothly and is finished to a high standard.

With a Bachelor of Interior Architecture, Connor has extensive experience in delivering design solutions for all types of home renovations and extensions. He is passionate about helping clients achieve their vision and ensures high quality results for all his clients.

Senior Interior Designer
Certificate IV in Interior Decoration and a Diploma in Interior Design & Decoration, Charleen has a sharp eye for design, a passion for helping her clients and the knowledge and experience to deliver beautiful bathroom and kitchen design work.

Project Administrator
Ella is a highly experienced Senior Interior Designer with a Master’s Degree of Interior Architecture. With a proven track record of creating exceptional spaces, her experience has led her to her current role as Project Coordinator. Collaborating closely with the construction team, Ella ensures seamless coordination and that attention to detail is executed for every project.

The success of any renovation project is often determined by the quality of the finished product. At Creative Home Renovations, we take it a step further, placing equal emphasis on both the end result and the overall client experience.
Our team recognise the significance of clear communication throughout the renovation process. To achieve this, each renovation project is assigned a dedicated Project Manager, overseeing the entire process from start to finish, and our Site Supervisor is always on hand to engage with clients and manage on-site tradesmen, ensuring the project remains on track and promptly addressing any queries our clients may have.
